“Church Discipline” – 1st Corinthians 5 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. The idea of church discipline is a foreign concept to most churches in our day. Paul’s teaching in this chapter shows us that this is a problem that needs to be rectified. In part 2 of the message, we gin in verses 3 through 5 where Paul teaches what he will do as an Apostle to help the church restart proper church discipline. He will then teach how each on of us and a member of the body of Christ has the responsibility to speak and live in such as way as to encourage righteousness in our fellow members.
