“I Will Call Upon the Lord” • Psalm 18:3-19 Part 1 – Today, we continue our look at this Psalm David wrote about his cry to the Lord for help when Saul and his men were trying to kill him. In part one of this sermon, we will see that we can have confidence that God will answer our prayers because He is our loving Heavenly Father. Further, we will get a glimpse of how important our prayers are to God.

After a brief review of the first four verses showing that time salvation is possible because of the finished work of Jesus Christ in eternal salvation, Elder Bryce speaks about David’s struggle. David prays for God to deliver, but also prays for patience to keep walking in God’s paths while he waits on God’s deliverance. Part 1 of this message covers verses 5 through 7.

“Hear the Right” • Psalm 17:1-4 Part 2 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. The overall message of Psalm 17 is a prayer for time salvation based upon the fact that God has already saved eternally. Part 2 of this message returns to verse one where David makes three supplications to God in a single verse. If we truly believe we are the sons of God, it should give us the bold desire to come to our Father for help and not cease to beg for deliverance.

Because of that imputation, God deals with us as sons, not subjects of judgment.
