The Apostle Paul thanks God for their faith in Jesus Christ which is exhibited in their love for their fellow saints of God. Paul further thanks God for the hope of eternal joy that is promised to God’s children, and is secure in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we should be active in a local assembly promoting the glory of Christ’s kingdom.
