Triumphal Feast – Lowrance Ministries

Today’s edition of Triumphal Feast continues in our study of Paul’s letter to the Church at Ephesus. This message focuses on chapter 1 verse 7 describing the gracious power of God needed to redeem us from our sins.

Last time on Triumphal Feast we joined the Apostle Paul in his doxology about God’s joyful will in salvation by grace. Today’s message explores how it is that we can know that we as individuals are part of God’s elect family.

This edition of Triumphal Feast concludes the message “Adoring God.” In this sermon, we find that the doctrines of grace (predestination, election, etc.) are the basis for our praise to God. God had pleasure in exhibiting His love toward us in these doctrines. Therefore, it should be our good pleasure to praise Him for it!

This week’s edition of Triumphal Feast continues in Ephesians chapter 1 where the Apostle Paul writes a doxology about the grace of God. Contrary to the contemporary praise songs sung in so many churches today, the Apostle doesn’t just say “God is blessed” and repeat that chorus multiple times. Paul says that God is blessed, and then he gives reasons why! The doctrines of election, predestination, justification, etc. are given as the basis for singing praise to God for His sovereign grace.

In this special edition of Triumphal Feast, we celebrate the birth of our Redeemer with a look at the prophecy of His coming found in Isaiah 9:6. In part 2, we examine the names of Christ given in this prophecy and also move to verse 7 to find that the kingdom of God presses forward with no end because the ZEAL of God has performed it!

In this edition of Triumphal Feast we conclude the message “To The Saints and Faithful.” Last week we learned what Paul meant by the titles “saint” and “faithful.” This week we will learn how to apply those terms in our daily walk as disciples. When we understand what a glorious gift we have in the sovereign grace of God, we should respond with a thankful and faithful walk.
