“Complaint and Confidence on the Cross” • Psalm 22 Part 2 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. Through the inspiration of the Spirit, David declares that Jesus, while dying, taught us to trust our Heavenly Father. There are three cycles of complaint and confidence recorded in this Psalm of the Cross. Each cycle increases in the details of the despair and agony of Jesus on the cross. But each complaint is met with an ever-increasing amount of confidence in God’s deliverance.
Part 2 begins with a focus on verse 15.

This message explores how it is that the all-knowing Son of God could possible ask the question ”why? ” about anything. We find that reason that Jesus asks this is so that we can know the God forsook Jesus so that we would never be forsaken.

“To You, God!” • Psalm 21 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. This Psalm is a celebration of our victorious King Jesus. Who, when He was raised from the dead was crowned once again in the sight of all mankind and secured the eternal victory for God’s people. The assurance of this salvation is based on the covenant of grace and election that God made before the foundation of the world. Jesus had victory over death and the grave. He will destroy all His enemies. He did all of these things by His own power. Therefore, we are duty in church worship is to praise the power of God alone.
