Ephesians Series • 21 “Submission: Servants & Masters” 6:5-9 In part of this message, we will hear the conclusion of the responsibilities of employees to serve in their jobs as serving unto the Lord. The remainder of the message shows how bosses should treat their employees. The leader should lead like Jesus and he should only expect as much obedience and diligence from his employees as he shows to Christ.

Ephesians Series • 21 “Submission: Servants & Masters” 6:5-9 As Paul continues to describe our duty to submit to one another as unto Christ, he deals with the servant and master relationship. This is not an endorsement of slavery or the slave-trade. Paul is dealing with an historical fact of bond-servitude that was used to pay off debts or other charges. The equivalent today is the relationship between boss and employee.

Ephesians Series • 20 “Submission: Children & Parents” 6:1-4 In part 2 of his message teaching children and parents their roles in the home, Elder Bryce focuses on Paul’s charge to fathers to be Christ in the home. The message was initially preached during the pandemic of 2020 and following a Summer that was full of riots in the streets of America. Elder Bryce points to some of those current events to show the results of not following God’s pattern for the family.

Ephesians 6 begins with specific instructions to children and parents showing their specific roles and responsibilities as a members of a Godly family. Today’s edition of Triumphal Feast focuses on the direct instruction that Paul gives to children. They are to obey their parents for this is right!

This message focuses on the husband’s role as Christ in the home and how the home should reflect the relationship between Christ and His bride, the church. In part one of this message, Elder Bryce defines what Paul means by submission in the home, and the husband’s responsibility to be Christ in the home.

Today’s edition of Triumphal Feast concludes the message “Redeeming the Time.” We live in a society with a consumer mentality and unfortunately that mentality has infiltrated the thinking of God’s people regarding church. Many look for and attend a church that fits their personal taste or that gives them the experience they desire. This attitude is foreign to God’s design for HIS church. Church is about glorifying God in Jesus Christ and learning to live like Christ by loving others. Through submitting ourselves to one another in a single local assembly, we will redeem the time and live our lives to the fullest.
